Although the doctor is reputed for his straightforward work, he has been hiding a secret from his wife for three years. He has been having an affair with a college student, Umezawa Tomohisa. One day, a detective investigating a murder case comes to Teiichiro. A man named Sugiyama, arrested for alleged murder, claims his alibi is that he had met with Teiichiro at the time of the incident. In fact, on that day, Teiichiro enjoyed a secret meeting with his lover, Tomohisa, and accidentally met with Sugiyama, but pretended to not remember. However, Teiichiro, who was mentally driven to lose his relationship with Tomohisa and lost his family and work, falsely remembers that he did not meet Sugiyama on that day.
